HPTY Adds Five California Lawyers
Hawkins Parnell Thackston & Young LLP is pleased to announce the expansion of its practice in Los Angeles with the addition of five lawyers licensed to practice in the state of California. Jacob Zuniga, Mark Hilliard, and Kelly Hagemann recently joined the Los Angeles office as members of the Business Litigation and Toxic Tort & Environmental Litigation Groups. Jason Irvin of Dallas and Alex Barfield of Atlanta have also joined the Firm's growing compliment of licensed California attorneys and will continue representing businesses in high-risk litigation across the country, as well as being an active part of the Los Angeles litigation team. The Firm will continue to expand its practice defending business in employment, construction defect, toxic tort, and environmental litigation.

Jason Irvin is a trial attorney and member of the Toxic Tort & Environmental Litigation Group. He represents business clients in product liability, toxic tort, and business litigation. Jason has tried cases in both California and Texas, and represents a broad range of clients across the country. He is licensed in California, New Mexico and Texas.
Alex Barfield is a member of the Labor & Employment Litigation Group. He represents management exclusively in all areas of labor and employment litigation and counseling. He has extensive experience defending claims under Title VII, 42 U.S.C. Section 1981, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act. He is licensed in California and Georgia.
Mark Hilliard joins the Firm as a member of the Toxic Tort & Environmental Litigation Group in Los Angeles. He has successfully represented Fortune 500 companies in all phases of product liability, mass tort, and complex commercial litigation. He is licensed in California.
Kelly Hagemann joins the Firm as a member of the Toxic Tort & Environmental Litigation Group in Los Angeles. She will focus her practice on the defense of toxic tort, environmental, and product liability litigation in California. Kelly has extensive courtroom experience defending business clients in toxic tort litigation. She is licensed in California.
Jacob (Jake) Zuniga is a member of the Business Litigation Group in Los Angeles. He concentrates his practice on labor and employment issues, as well as commercial litigation matters. In addition, he also defends clients in product liability and personal injury litigation.
