ALFA International: Labor & Employment Seminar

Blurring Boundaries, Shifting Shapes, and Forecasts of Increasing Fog for Employers

July 22-24, 2015

Ronald Polly and Brenton Bean will be participating in ALFA International's 2015 Labor & Employment Seminar on July 22-24, 2015 at the Montage Deer Valley in Park City, UT.

Ron will serve as an ALFA Panelist for the breakout session, "Things Every Employer Should Know About: Wage and Hour Class and Collective Actions." This panel is comprised of true experts in the field who have managed, litigated and resolved these unique employment disputes. The program will discuss issues relating to class and collective actions, such as communication with management and employees both within and outside the putative class.

Brent will moderate the breakout session, "Young and the Restless EEOC: Expanding Employer Duties for Pregnant Employees," which will address the very recent developments regarding the Pregnancy Discrimination Act ("PDA") and how these changes impact employers' duties toward pregnant employees.
