Nilofar Karbassi is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Hawkins Parnell Thackston & Young LLP. Nilo defends large corporations in complex product liability and toxic tort litigation involving catastrophic injury and wrongful death. She is involved in all phases of litigation from inception of a case through resolution, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial.
Nilo has extensive experience representing individuals, small start-up businesses, and large corporate entities in high-risk litigation involving a variety of business tort claims and employment law issues. Nilo also has a background in investment banking and real estate secured transactions principally in the areas of both secured and unsecured debt financing with an emphasis in acquisitions and highly leveraged financing.
