Mark D. Crapo
Mark Crapo is an associate in the St. Louis office of Hawkins Parnell Thackston & Young LLP. His practice focuses on product liability, toxic tort and environmental litigation, and business litigation. Mark helps clients achieve favorable outcomes in state and federal courts throughout the country. He has experience in all phases of litigation, including motion practice, legal research, discovery, and trial preparation.
While earning his juris doctorate and master of laws ("L.L.M."), Mark worked as a law clerk with HPTY and interned with the St.Louis County Public Defender. At the Public Defender’s Office, Mark successfully defended clients on felony charges as first chair at preliminary hearings. During his L.L.M. studies, Mark mediated disputes between consumers and businesses for the Better Business Bureau and served as a research assistant for the Special Adviser on Crimes Against Humanity to the International Criminal Court Prosecutor. During undergrad, Mark studied abroad in Beijing and interned for one of the world’s largest market research firms.
