Kay Andrews is Partner-in-Charge of the Austin, Texas office of Hawkins Parnell Thackston & Young LLP.
Kay represents business clients in all types of high-risk litigation, including mass tort litigation, asbestos defense and product liability. Her litigation experience includes first-chair trial experience, managing mass tort litigation, and successfully arguing significant summary judgment motions. She has had decades of experience litigating cases involving alleged exposure to benzene, butadiene, asbestos, silicone breast implants, PCBs, welding rods, and radiation. Kay has served as national and regional counsel for large corporate clients. She regularly counsels clients regarding settlement and trial strategies in mass tort litigation.
Kay has testified as a resource in Senate and House Committees in the Texas legislature on tort reform issues and serves on the liaison committee in the Texas Asbestos Multi-District Litigation Court.
