Allen E. Lockerman, IV
Allen Lockerman is a Senior Partner with Hawkins Parnell Thackston & Young LLP. He practices exclusively in the defense of companies and other entities in high-risk litigation across the United States.
He focuses on national mass tort asbestos litigation, with an emphasis on those jurisdictions routinely recognized as particularly challenging to civil defendants in high-risk litigation by the American Tort Reform Foundation. His practice involves measured and aggressive representation of the Firm’s clients from the most rural of State courts to State and Federal Multi-District Litigation courts in cases involving claims of premise and product liability, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and conspiracy where millions of dollars are at stake.
Allen began trying cases before juries early in his career involving tort, environmental and business litigation. He currently tries cases from the west coast to the east coast reaching the targeted - or better result in every case.
He currently serves in the Firm’s capacity as National Trial Counsel, National Coordinating Counsel and local counsel on behalf of privately held and multi-national corporations. His product and premises liability practice concerns asbestos and other industrial exposure claims including silica, benzene, and other toxic substances. He litigates high volume case dockets in over 30 states and jurisdictions and has tried complicated and sympathetic cases to directed and defense verdicts in several states, most recently including California, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Washington.
