H. Barret Marshall, Jr.
Barret grew up on a small dairy farm in North Louisiana, where he learned from an early age that success requires hard work and determination. Taking these traits from the dairy farm to the courtroom has enabled Barret to successfully defend his clients in complex litigation throughout the country.
As an associate in the Dallas office of Hawkins Parnell Thackston & Young LLP, Barret maintains a varied litigation practice including product liability and toxic tort defense and commercial disputes.
Professional Experience
Barret specializes in preparing high risk cases against his clients for trial and has:
- defended hundreds of percipient and expert witness depositions;
- successfully argued motions for summary judgment;
- successfully challenged opposing expert witnesses; and
- participated in numerous trials and appellate matters in Arkansas, California, Illinois, Louisiana, New York and Texas.
