Christa D. Hykaway
Christa D. Hykaway is an associate in the Dallas office of Hawkins Parnell Thackston & Young LLP. She specializes in civil defense litigation with particular emphasis on products liability and toxic torts involving personal injury and wrongful death in asbestos-related mass tort cases.
Christa has extensive experience in the management of voluminous dockets where she routinely participates in all phases of litigation. She is actively involved in developing overall client defense strategies, including drafting answers, written discovery, legal memoranda, pretrial motions, trial briefs, expert and trial preparation. Christa attends court hearings, including case management conferences, trial setting conferences, mandatory settlement conferences, and final status conferences in Texas and California state courts.
Christa has participated in hundreds of depositions, including opposing parties and experts. In defending these depositions, she routinely represents various product, equipment, and premises defendants.
