Susan E. Egeland
Susan Egeland is a partner with Hawkins Parnell Thackston & Young LLP in Dallas, Texas. Her practice includes business litigation, products liability, and mass tort litigation. She has prepared hundreds of products liability and mass tort litigation cases from inception through settlement or trial. She has also successfully managed dockets of mass tort cases, obtaining thousands of dismissals without payment in the earliest stages of litigation.
Susan has participated in all phases of litigation including written discovery, taking and defending depositions of plaintiffs, corporate witnesses and expert witnesses, drafting pre-trial motions, arguing motions at hearing, mediation, and trial. She has attended several trials in a second and third-chair capacity. She has also first-chaired two bench trials to verdict with positive results for corporate defendant clients.
