Billy Davis defends businesses and professionals against a variety of contract and tort claims brought in the state and federal courts of Georgia and Louisiana. His practice focuses upon defending professional negligence, legal malpractice, medical malpractice and premises liability actions. He has also handled cases in the fields of products liability and contractual obligations.

Billy believes in providing value by establishing cost-effective defense litigation strategies. He is a proponent of alternative dispute resolution procedures such as mediation and arbitration which he has used to foster favorable outcomes for his clients. When specific cases have necessitated protracted litigation, he has successfully advocated for his clients at trial and in appellate courts.

Prior to entering the practice of law, Billy worked as a financial advisor for major international and regional financial services firms, advising Atlanta businesses on various transactions in commercial finance, debt structuring and management of interest rate risks.

Outside the office, Billy is a volunteer for Everybody Wins, a national non-profit organization dedicated to promoting children’s literacy through programs designed to improve the reading skills of students in low-income public elementary schools. He sits on the Board of Governors of the Beta Zeta Association of Theta Xi, Inc. and is the Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Tribute Lofts Condominium Association, Inc.
