Sarah L. Bright
Sarah (Sally) L. Bright is a senior associate in Hawkins Parnell Thackston & Young LLP's Business Litigation Group. She concentrates her practice on the representation of corporate, municipal, and individual clients in complex business litigation, product liability, municipal liability, construction litigation, and general negligence matters. She prosecutes and defends suits involving a variety of areas of law including commercial and contractual disputes, business torts, real estate, and intellectual property. Prior to joining the firm, Sally was an associate in the Financial Institutions Group in the Atlanta office of a large national law firm, practicing banking and public finance law for over three years.
Professional Experience
- Representing one of the nation's largest producer of paints and coatings in a variety of actions, including product liability and breach of contract, in state and federal courts;
- Obtaining summary judgment for a federally-contracted security services company in a Title VII discrimination action brought by one of its former security guards (district court judgment successfully upheld on appeal by the Eleventh Circuit);
- Obtaining summary judgment for a large corporate client on claim for tortious interference with business relations (district court judgment successfully upheld on appeal by the Eleventh Circuit);
- Representing one of the nation's leading communications companies and provider of cable services in a variety of matters including breach of contract; and
- Representing one of the nation's leading auto parts retailers in a breach of contract action involving real estate purchase.
