Matthew Sapp
Matt Sapp is an Associate in the Dallas office of Hawkins Parnell Thackston & Young LLP. He is involved in the Appellate and Legal Issues, Toxic Torts, and Product Liability groups. Matt’s experience in complex litigation includes preparing appellate briefs, emergency petitions for mandamus review, motions for summary judgment, trial briefs, and motions to strike.
Prior to joining HPTY, Matt served as a Briefing Attorney in the Chambers of Justice William Boyce of the Fourteenth Court of Appeals of Texas. In addition to his extensive experience with the Texas Court of Appeals, Matt has experience with Federal District Courts and with Criminal District Courts. While completing his Doctorate of Jurisprudence, Matt expanded his legal acumen through distinctive internships in the Chambers of the Honorable Judge Sam R. Cummings, the Honorable Judge Sharen Wilson, and the Honorable Judge Terrie Livingston.
