Peter R. York

Peter York is an accomplished first-chair trial lawyer and senior partner at Hawkins Parnell Thackston & Young LLP. Peter’s practice focuses on toxic tort and environmental litigation defense; he specializes in asbestos-related claims involving lung cancer and mesothelioma as well as chemicals and substances such as talc, vermiculite and mold. Additionally, Peter has over fifteen years of experience trying cases arising out of trucking and automobile accidents, construction matters, premises criminal assault, professional negligence, contract disputes, malicious prosecution, premises liability, bad faith and other insurance related matters and dispute resolution methods. He currently serves as national trial counsel for a prominent manufacturer of furnaces and water heaters.
